This course will provide persons with the appropriate first aid training, in a forestry context, as set out in the First Aid at Work – Forestry Commission Policy covering areas such as the use of tourniquets, hemostatic dressings and Lyme disease.
This course is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a forestry, agricultural or remote environment, such as tree surgeons and farmers. It is also useful for those who may be around the operations of heavy machinery or who work in high risk areas that may incur injuries that require the use of tourniquets and hemostatic dressings.
